Welcome to Core Pilates, Anchorage’s premier Pilates studio. Whether you are new to Pilates or a professional athlete, Core’s state-of-the-art facility is certain to have something to meet your fitness needs. Our goal is to get you moving on your very first visit. We specialize in the Stott Pilates method, a contemporary approach to Pilates, emphasizing toning, flexibility, alignment and strength building.
Core offers a full spectrum of Pilates classes including Stott reformer, Pilates circuit, Barre Pilates, traditional Mat work, Jumpboard, TRX, and Yoga/Pilates fusion. We offer group, private, or semi-private (duet) sessions. Our clean and modern studio is equipped with spacious locker rooms, and massage and bodywork rooms. We also sell Pilates, yoga, and other fitness wear and accessories, including Toe Sox, AK Starfish, Alo and Lucy.
Free Introduction Workshop—We offer a free Introduction to Pilates Workshop every Saturday morning from 9 am to 10:30 am. This is an excellent way to see the studio, meet the instructors, learn about Pilates and get a great workout! Call to reserve your spot-classes fill up fast. Can’t make it on Saturday? PILATES BOOT CAMP
We now offer an intensive, 4-week Pilates Boot Camp! This includes one private session and three group classes per week for only $360 (that’s a total of 4 private sessions and 12 group classes!). This program is tailored to your specific goals, individual fitness level, and schedule- you pick the times and classes that work best for you. Pilates is excellent for rehabilitative work associated with injury, post-surgery, and other physical conditions. Many of our instructors are specially trained in Injury & Special Populations (ISP) rehabilitation training and can customize workouts to address a broad range of physical challenges, limitations, health conditions, postural problems and injuries, including lower back pain, spinal conditions, hip and knee replacements, shoulder issues, fibromyalgia, and arthritis, as well as pre and post-natal health and recovery. If you are currently under the care of a chiropractor, physical therapist or other health provider, we can work closely with them to develop a rehabilitation program specific to your needs.
